Hope is a powerful weapon that combats negativity and unlocks doors that are generally closed. Giving hope a chance to come alive in your midst will bring you deliverance and form a shield of protection around you. Hoping in the things of God should be a part of your daily activities because it will create a crown of glory upon your head. When you are in a low place and you cry out to God for help, He will sustain you and lift you upon the hill because you hoped in Him.
Hope will not fear but will believe God for that which is not seen. It will not discourage you because it is strong and courageous and will stand with you when the enemies try to fight against. Like Noah who believed and hoped in God for coverage you have to do the same. By faith Noah stepped out and built the ark and he rested his hope in God that his family would be saved during the flood; because he trusted God enough and believed, indeed their lives were preserved. Hope in God is a life saver and it causes victory to rise up and bury the dead things that does not bear fruit around you.
The scripture gives an account of a blind man in Jericho that was hoping he would be healed. His hope connected with his faith and it created a miracle and it changed his life for the better. Luke 18:35-43 states, “As Jesus was approaching Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging. Now hearing a crowd going by, he began to inquire what this was. They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. And he called out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to Him; and when he came near, He questioned him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And he said, “Lord, I want to regain my sight!” And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God; and when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.” Just like the man that received his sight, so will you when you stay in tune with hope. Friends your miracle is around the corner so, do not give up on hope because it will not give up on you.
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Prayer: Father thank you for resurrecting hope in your people so that they will start believing again for the things that they do not yet see. Father lift up your children and remove doubt and discouragement and allow hope to come alive in them in Jesus name. AMEN!
